Julie Chen shares the gender of her unborn baby

julie chen pregnantWhen you tune into Big Brother 11 tonight, you’ll notice that host Julie Chen has put on some weight. No, she hasn’t been living off of slop (the meal that in the past has been doled out to houseguests during the summer series). She’s pregnant! Chen, who is also the wife of CBS President Les Moonves is expecting a bouncy baby boy.

Chen revealed the news to Craig Ferguson on ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson’ while promoting the latest season of Big Brother 11, which premieres tonight. Fans of the hit summer reality show will get to see Chen grow bigger each week as she interviews departing houseguests when they are ousted one by one.

Chen and Moonves married in Deecember of 2004. Their baby will born in early October, just after ‘Big Brother 11′ winds up. She is also the co-host of ‘The Early Show’ on CBS
