Earthquake rattles Anchorage, southcentral Alaska
August 20th, 2009 | by admin | 928 viewsANCHORAGE, Alaska — A magnitude 5.0 earthquake has rattled buildings in Anchorage.
The temblor at 10:19 a.m. Wednesday was 31 miles west of Anchorage and 15 miles northeast of the village of Tyonek.
The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center says the quake did not generate a tsunami.
