Patch Adams Signs Books

http://www.rochester.edu/currents/V34/V34N19/photos/PatchAdams.jpgDr. Patch Adams, made famous in the Academy Award-nominated film starring Robin Williams, will be in Kingston Thursday, Sept. 10, to sign copies of his books.

Adams will be at Medical House, 49 King St. East, starting at 7 p. m. While quantities last copies of his books,House Callsand Gesundheit!,will be available.

Proceeds from the sale of these books will go to Adams’s Gesundheit Institute for its global outreach and education projects.

Adams joins a list of distinguished guests at Medical House, a list that includes Nobel laureates Lester Pearson, the former prime minister, and Sir Frederick Banting, co-discoverer of insulin.
