Anything highlighted on Oprah Winfrey’s show, or on her blog, gets an automatic boost. It’s called the Oprah Effect, and CJ or Cookie Johnson jeans are bound to see a rise in interest, now that she has spotlighted them.
Oprah Winfrey has named CJ Jeans (or Cookie Johnson jeans) as her favorite set of denim pantswear. The reason is because, according to Oprah, they are the best jeans for women with “real booties.”
In other words, what Oprah is saying, is that CJ Jeans (or Cookie Johnson jeans) provide ample room. The ample room is provided for your behind.
The CJ jeans are relatively new, and designed by Cookie Johnson, which is probably obvious due to their name. She decided to start her own brand of jeans after not finding anything for her figure in stores.
In case you’re wondering, Cookie Johnson is Magic Johnson’s wife. Her husband was a star NBA player for the LA Lakers, but he’s also known for announcing his HIV infection prior to the 91-92 NBA season. He has been a HIV activist since that announcement.
The CJ Jeans by Cookie Johnson are not cheap however. They are priced between $140 and $200. They are, as Cookie Johnson stated, jeans for the curvier set of women.
Curvier does not translate into obese or overweight, however. Rather, the CJ jeans (or Cookie Johnson jeans) are designed for say, Marilyn Monroe, or Scarlett Johansson.

should have shown more of models – all that was shown was the bottom of the jeans – sooo really could not tell wehat jeans looked like.
also could have told a little bit about the supermodels – as they really are a news item and have made much headway in educating the fashion world on the need for good looking clothes for plus sizes.

I love the look of these jeans… too bad they exceed my “clothes budget” by a long shot
