NYC giving away 500 Yankee ceremony tickets
November 6th, 2009 | by admin | 340 viewsNEW YORK (AP) — New York’s City Hall is giving away 500 tickets to the ceremony honoring the Yankees for winning the 2009 World Series.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present keys to the city to the Yankees at the ceremony, which begins Friday at 1 p.m. after the ticker-tape parade.
Fans 18 years and older can enter the giveaway from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at www.nyc.gov/parade or access the entry form through the mayor’s office Twitter page at www.twitter.com/NYCMayorsOffice.
