Baked French Toast Recipe

Christmas celebration for 2009 is just a few hours away. No wonder a lot of people are searching for recipes on How to Make Baked French Toast. We also had our own pre-Christmas celebration here in Daily World Buzz and I made my own Baked French Toast for the team!

Ingredients:

• 1 French loaf cut into 1″ slices
• 2 teaspoons of vanilla
• 1 cup of milk
• 1 1/2 cups of half and half
• 6 eggs
• 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Butter a 9×13 bake pan. Arrange your bread slices on the bottom. Mix all ingredients and pour over bread. Let sit overnight.

• 3/4 cup butter
• 1 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 3 Tablespoons of light corn syrup or maple syrup

Mix the topping ingredients together and simmer on stove till it gets bubbly. Then pour over the egg and bread mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. Flip and bake another 5 to 10 minutes until firm.
