CHILE EARTHQUAKE: 8.8 Magnitude Quake Hits Chile

The 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile was really shocking million people including those who live far from the country. So far, at least 78 people reported dead and many building severely damage. As I wrote over the past hour, Chile earthquake was happened on the early Saturday. It means, most of the citizens were still in their nice dream. The latest news I got from CNN said that it’s triggering tsunami warnings for the entire Pacific basin.

Still according to CNN, the quake’s epicenter was located off the coast of Maule, about 200 miles southwest of the capital of Santiago. It struck at 3:34 a.m. (1:34 a.m. ET), when most people were sleeping.
