Some powerhouse acts showed up this morning at the 2010 Austin City Limits website, happening October 8-10 at Zilker Park. Sonic Youth, The Flaming Lips, The Strokes, The National, M.I.A., Spoon, Band of Horses, Beach House and loads more come together this fall. Hit the link below for the rest.
The big news is the recent discussion of both Phish and the Eagles played the festival. Eagles seem like a pretty good lock, with regard to the “sense of peace easy” billboard on South Lamar. Rumors about Phish is looking all unlikely, but not to them entirely. I would be completely satisfied if Phish will not play for this year’s Austin City Limits Festival.
