Evelyn LauderEvelyn Lauder, 75, founding of pink ribbon for cancer awareness, died these days from complications of non-genetic ovarian cancer, that had been diagnosed in 2007, at her home in NY city, the Estée Lauder companies Inc. In 1992, Lauder worked along with her friend Alexandra Penney, the previous editor-in-chief of Self magazine, to make the pink ribbon campaign for breast cancer awareness.
