Jahvid Best suffers frightening injury (Video)
Sunday, November 8th, 2009 724 viewsCal’s Jahvid Best suffered a horrific injury on Saturday when the running back vaulted into the endzone and landed awkwardly, rendering him immobile. Best, who lost his helmet when he fell to the ground, was a Heisman Trophy hopeful.
While Best’s teammates kneeled on the field and prayed for his well being, medical staffers rushed to the running back’s aid. Placing his body on a gurney, a white sheet over his legs and torso, and an oxygen mask on his face, Best was rushed to the hospital.
