TMZ.com is reporting that the mystery woman who aided Ryan Jenkins in Canada, and drove him to the Hope motel where his body was found, is named Paulina Chmielecka.

The website is reporting that Kevin Walker, the manager of the Thunderbird Motel, identified Chmielecka as the woman who checked in Thursday, and left.

Chmielecka, an aspiring actress and model who was engaged to Jenkins for the last two and a half years, is laying low and not responding to media questioning, according to Kelsea Forzani, her agent at Details Talent in Calgary.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Canadian police say fugitive murder suspect Ryan Jenkins has been found dead of an apparent suicide in a motel in British Columbia. Sgt. Duncan Pound of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police border integrity unit says police responded to a call about a dead person in Hope, east of Vancouver, and then called investigators who were part of the massive manhunt for Jenkins.

The real estate developer and reality show contestant was wanted in California on first-degree murder charges after the mutilated body of his ex-wife Jasmine Fiore was found near Los Angeles.

Jenkins, 32, disappeared last week but his boat was found Wednesday at a marina not far from the U.S.-Canada border south of Vancouver.

Pound says police don’t yet know how long Jenkins was at the motel before his body was discovered.

Canadian authorities arrested fugitive Ryan Jenkins, who is suspected of killing Playboy model Jasmine Fiore, after his Air Canada flight landed in Toronto at about 11:30 p.m. (Eastern time) on Friday night, according to a report in the Vancouver Province.

Peel Regional Police Staff Sgt. Keith Brodie told the newspaper that authorities did not immediately know whether the man they arrested was indeed Ryan Jenkins, but later a police source confirmed that Jenkins was the man they arrested.

TMZ reports that police walked onto the plane with a photo and asked Ryan Jenkins if he was the man they were looking for. He admitted he was and was immediately placed under arrest.

The Province report said authorities believe Jenkins took a flight from Nanaimo (a relatively remote town on Vanouver Island) to the city of Vancouver on Friday afternoon, then boarded a flight to Toronto. A nationwide warrant was issued in Canada after police in Bellingham, Washington. discovered his abandoned SUV and an empty boat trailer at a launch in Blaine. His boat was found in Point Roberts, a small community accessible by land only through Canada.
